wow, one year

So it's been a year...wow. Life has been crazy!
I moved out West to work at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise at, who would have thought, Lake Louise Alberta. Originally I was a housekeeper, but then moved on to the Chateau Deli, one of the restaurants. There I met some amazing people, moved many times, and found the most amazing person whom I love so very much. He pleases me and just knows me I think better than I know myself. Then after 11 months in Alberta, I moved back to Ontario. I spent the last twelve days in either London Ontario or at the cottage. Now, one year later, I'm loving my life.

Life

So it's been about three weeks since I've returned to Ontario. Very interesting...
In job news, I may be going to Alberta. In life news, I may be going to Alberta. Just pray that it all goes well...I'm quite scared but excited at the same time!

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

Rhett Butler, not the average leading man girls dream about. Yet to me, he is. His charm and humour makes me smile and wish there was a guy out there for me who truly loves me. like rhett loved scarlett. People call him a jerk for leaving her, yet did she ever truly love him at all? not until she realised he truly didn't love her anymore, did she want him. Money was her one true love, that and ashley wilkes. She loved a fantasy world, not the true love in reality. Rhett's brutal honesty allows for me to realise how leading men were once written as, true men. He had his flaws, which were not hidden, and learned from them. He is the ultimate ladies' man, yet he truly loved one person. I think if I could marry a film character, it would be Rhett Butler

Green Day -Time Of Your Life

So I graduate next saturday and I thought this song, not the video, accurately portrayed these last four years. I have had the time of my life. I have met the best friends a girl could ask for; I have learned so much, academically and life wise; I have laughed, I have cried, I have had the time of my life. All that there's left to say is...It's something unpredictable and in the end it's right

Monty Python- The Annoying Peasant

I'm writing a paper on Marxist theories in William Blake's "The Chimney Sweeper". I open the paper by quoting one of the best movies ever-this scene! "Come and see the violence inherent in the system!" haha! I laugh hysterically every time!

Fear

The unknown. It haunts me each day, for everyday is closer to my routine ending. I clutch at what habits occur every day. I'm just scared.

Spring Break next week!!! I leave Thursday March 1 at 9:40am and from there will fly to Halifax then on to Ottawa...anyone else see why I should fly in the OPPOSITE direction before heading home? I am very excited to see my family and friends-will be a great break. Not that I dislike Moncton, but when you've been away for at least 2 months, then it's great to return.
This past week has been super busy but super fun. Thursday was a Grey's Anatomy part, which included a trip to SUperstore to purchase too much food. Friday was the English Faculty Party. Fun times had by all, especially during the Literary Pictionary. I was very excited my biscuits turned out-thanks to Amy's help! Last night was the ABU film Festival. From what the registrars REALLY do to a robot attacking random costumed people at ABU....who could not laugh hysterically. I was hit in the head with the thrown candy, but I guess I can overlook that! But it was after the festival where my night really took off! Paige, Amanda, and I went to Wendy's and there concocted a plan to make a "photo story sequence". It was entitled "Poptart Mission-Where are the Poptarts?"; our love of poptarts springing from the tetes-a-clacks series. Clad in costumes, Paige and I hunted the Poptart Monster who was hiding our poptarts from us! We then found her, resulting in a chase in the 2E hallway. Paige and I thought we had the last laugh, but due to the empty poptart box, the "Poptart Monster" chuckled last. I have not laughed that hard in a LONG while! We were a little hyper...I wonder what they put in our drinks at Wendy's? haha!
Just thought I'd put a fun update on how I am! Good Night and Good Luck all!
