Perhaps I should dust off my tutu and start learning physics

Wow, I haven't said much here in a long time....
My roomate got a job as a long term supply! It was very exciting news and we cheered and we're partying it up on Thursday!
I have been getting anxious this last few weeks over what to do post graduation. I'm going to sign up for one of those career test things at school. Maybe they'll confirm what high school said-Agriculture! I took one online and it said journalist...but maybe that's cause it wasn't a very professional test. I am now not sure what I want to do. I would love to work in a news room, writing articles, but see...I don't know if that's what God wants me to do. I wish He would just send out a neon sign reading, "Heather O'Brien is supposed to do (enter career here) as her profession." I would love to work for a fashion magazine..or even just for a fashion company. Wow..could you imagine living in Manhattan working for Ralph Lauren. that would totally rock my world. Since we're on the lines of dreams here are just a few-work as journalist in England, work in the fashion industry in NYC, work at the Globe and Mail, run a bookstore in England (maybe a children's bookstore), or who knows...aren't I supposed to know what I want to do with my life before this point? I am ready to work really hard to get where I need to be. I just don't know where that place is. My roomate has known what she wants to do with her life for a long time. I am like a little child constantly switching my ideas. maybe tomorrow I'll work towards being an astronaut, or a ballerina. I did at one point want to be both those things. Perhaps I should dust off my tutu and start learning physics.

Okay, you just asked one of the biggest questions of life. Not too many people know exactly what they're going to do straight out of university. And most people are going to change careers two or three times before they retire. If you love journalism go for it. It would seem pretty odd for God to put the desire in your heart and not want you to do it.

God bless,
Samantha

I always wanted to work in a zoo. Sigh, yeah I'm not sure what I'm doing after grad either. Nice to know there are others in the same situation.
